Takayuki Nozaki received the B.E. degree in computer science and the M.E. and Dr.Eng. degrees in communication engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2008, 2010, and 2012, respectively. From 2010 to 2013, he was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Research Associate with Kanagawa University. He joined Yamaguchi University, as an Assistant Professor in 2015, where he served as a Senior Lecturer from 2017 to 2020. Since 2020, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Informatics, Yamaguchi University, Japan. He received the Best Paper Award from the IEICE of Japan in 2018. His research interests include error-correcting codes and coding theory. He is a member of ACM, AMS, IEEE, IEICE, IPSJ, JSTS.
